Wager Round Scorer runs the final, highest-stakes round of any trivia or quiz night. Type each team's current score, and every team gets a slider capped at exactly what they have to lose — no team can bet more than its own score allows. Wagers stay locked behind a seal icon once you tap Seal Wagers, so nobody can change their bet after hearing the question, and a single Reveal All click uncovers every amount at once for maximum drama. Mark each team's answer right or wrong and the score updates instantly: right adds the wager, wrong subtracts it, and scores are free to drop below zero if a team overreaches. A running swing line calls out exactly how much each team gained or lost, and once every team is resolved the tool announces the round winner, tie included.
Frequently asked questions
- Can a team's score go negative?
- Yes, if a team wagers everything and answers wrong, their score is deducted by the full wager amount and can drop below zero — the tool tracks true scores rather than clamping at zero.
- Can a team wager more than they currently have?
- No, each slider's maximum is capped at that team's current score, so a team with 40 points cannot wager more than 40, and a team at zero or below can only wager zero.
- What happens if two teams tie for the highest score?
- The tool announces a tie and names every team that shares the top score, rather than forcing a single winner when the scores are genuinely equal.
