How to play

  1. Paste one word or name per line, and set how many seconds each word gets to be unscrambled.
  2. Tap Start Round to scramble the first word into large letter tiles.
  3. Tap Reveal Answer any time to show the word, or let the ring timer run out for an automatic reveal.
  4. Tap Next Word to scramble the next entry — every word appears once before any word repeats.

Anagram Round turns any list of names or words into a fast, visual guessing game. Paste in the guests at your party, a themed word list, or anything else you'd like scrambled, set how many seconds each word gets, and the tool shuffles the letters into giant tiles readable from across the room. A ring timer counts down around the tiles and glows amber as time runs low, building pressure without anyone needing to watch a phone. Tap Reveal Answer at any point to show the original word early, or let the timer run out and it reveals automatically. Every word in your list gets its turn before any word repeats, so a themed round never feels stale even with a short list, and Next Word moves the group along whenever you're ready.

Frequently asked questions

Will letters ever be added or dropped when a word is scrambled?
No, every scramble uses only the exact letters from your original word or name, just reordered, so the unscrambled answer always matches what you typed.
Can I use people's names instead of vocabulary words?
Yes, the word list accepts anything on separate lines, including full names with spaces, which stay as visible gaps between the scrambled letter tiles.
What happens if the timer runs out before anyone guesses?
The tool automatically reveals the answer with a small celebration sound once the ring timer hits zero, so the round always keeps moving without needing a host to intervene.
