AbraCalc

Editorial Policy

This policy describes how AbraCalc tools and guides are produced and kept accurate.

How tools are built

Each calculator is built from a documented formula with at least one independently-derived test case. The same function that powers the live tool also generates any reference tables on the page, so the table and the calculator can never disagree.

Review and sourcing

Methods are checked against the authoritative sources cited in the References & sources section of each tool — standards bodies, peer-reviewed formulas, official tax/health/financial guidance and primary documentation. We never publish a calculator whose result we cannot reproduce from first principles.

Freshness

Every page carries a Last reviewed date. We re-review a tool when a formula, standard, rate or source changes.

Independence

We display ads to keep the site free, but advertising never influences a result, a ranking within the site, or which tools we build. Editorial decisions are independent of advertisers.
