How to play

  1. Pick a die type (d4 through d20), then set how many dice to roll and any modifier.
  2. Tap Roll — the dice bounce through a quick animation before settling on their final faces.
  3. Tap Save this set to pin the current combination as a quick-tap chip for next time.
  4. Check the roll history and sparkline below the tray to review your recent totals.

Dice Roller Deluxe replaces the whole bag of tabletop dice with one tray on your screen. Pick a die from d4 up to d20, set how many you're rolling and any flat modifier, and tap Roll for a satisfying bounce animation that lands on a fair result every time — the randomness comes from the browser's crypto engine, not a lookup table. Save combinations you use often, like Catan's 2d6 or a d20 attack roll, as quick-tap chips so you're never rebuilding the same set twice. A running history with a small sparkline keeps track of your last rolls, handy for settling arguments about whether the dice really are cursed tonight. Everything runs locally, so it keeps working even without a signal at game night.

Frequently asked questions

How is the randomness generated — is it actually fair?
Every roll uses the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, giving each face a uniform chance of appearing, the same standard used across every AbraCalc picker tool.
Can I roll dice with negative modifiers, like a -2 penalty?
Yes. Enter any negative number in the modifier field and it's applied directly to the total after the dice are summed, without clamping the result at zero.
Will my saved dice sets still be there if I refresh the page?
Saved sets live only in the current browser tab's memory for privacy and offline reliability, so a refresh clears them — re-add your favorites in a few taps if that happens.
