Quiz Show Board
Paste categories and questions to build a Jeopardy-style review board with value tiles, a daily double, and team scoring. Full review game from one paste. Works offline.
Built by the AbraCalc team
How to play
- Type each team's name, one per line.
- Paste categories starting with # and questions as 'question | answer' lines below each.
- Tap Build the board to generate value tiles with a hidden daily double.
- Tap a tile to reveal the question, then award or deduct points per team.
Quiz Show Board turns any list of review questions into a full Jeopardy-style game in one paste. Type or paste your categories (each starting with a #) followed by question and answer lines separated by a pipe, add your team names, and the board builds itself with values from 100 to 500 and one hidden daily double sparkling somewhere on the grid. Teams pick a tile, you reveal the question on a big projector-friendly overlay, click reveal answer when someone's ready, then award or deduct points with a tap. It runs entirely offline in the browser, so it's ready the moment you paste in tomorrow's unit review, no accounts or uploads required.
Frequently asked questions
- How many questions does each category need?
- At least one. Values assign automatically in order (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) and cycle again if a category has more than five questions.
- Can I control which tile becomes the daily double?
- No, it's chosen randomly from every tile on the board when you build it, which keeps the surprise fair and matches the classic show format.
- What happens if a team answers wrong?
- Use the matching minus-value button in the question overlay to deduct points from that team instead of the plus button, exactly like standard Jeopardy scoring.
