How to play

  1. Type each homework problem number or label into the box, one per line, then tap Start Review.
  2. Tap Pick Next Problem to reveal a fair, random problem to go over on the board.
  3. Watch the history strip fill in below — it shows every problem already reviewed so far this round.
  4. Once all problems have appeared, the next tap automatically starts a brand-new round from scratch.

Homework Problem Picker takes the guesswork out of deciding which problem to review on the board. Type every problem number or label from tonight's assignment, one per line, then tap Pick Next Problem to reveal a fair, random choice in giant tabular digits. Behind the scenes the picker draws from a shuffled deck rather than rolling a fresh random number each time, which means every problem is guaranteed to come up once before any problem repeats — no student's problem gets skipped over class after class, and no single problem gets picked twice in a row by bad luck. A history strip below the big number shows everything already reviewed this round, so the class can see at a glance how much ground is left to cover. Once every problem has appeared, the picker automatically starts a fresh round on the next tap, ready to go again tomorrow.

Frequently asked questions

Can the same problem get picked twice in a row?
No — the picker draws from a shuffled deck of your problem numbers rather than rolling independently each time, so every problem is guaranteed to appear exactly once before any problem can repeat within a round.
What happens after every problem has been reviewed?
A message confirms the round is complete, and the very next tap on Pick Next Problem automatically reshuffles the full set and starts a fresh round — nothing needs to be retyped.
Will rapid clicking on Pick Next Problem skip or double-draw a problem?
No — the button is guarded against rapid double-clicks, so a fast double-tap can only ever draw one problem, not two, keeping the review order fair and predictable.
