How to play
- Type each kid's name on its own line in the players box, then tap Update players.
- Tap Spin the wheel and watch it spin down to land on one name.
- That child takes their turn at pin-the-tail, the piñata, or whatever game you're playing.
- Check the turn order list below the wheel to see everyone who has already gone.
Spin the Person picks who goes next for pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, the piñata, or any game where kids need a fair, exciting way to decide turn order. Type each child's name into the roster box and tap Update players to build a colorful spinning wheel with one slice per name. Tap Spin the wheel and it winds down through a few full rotations with a light wobble animation before landing on a winner, announced in big text above the wheel. Every spin is logged in a running turn-order list underneath, numbered in the order kids were picked, so grown-ups can glance down and see who's already had a turn without having to remember. The wheel works with as few as one name and keeps spinning fairly for as many kids as you can fit on the invite list, and it runs completely offline.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the wheel actually fair, or does it favor certain names?
- Every spin uses a cryptographically strong random number to pick the winning slice, so each name has an equal chance regardless of its position on the wheel or how many times it has already been picked.
- Can I track who has already had a turn?
- Yes — every spin result is added to a running turn order list below the wheel, numbered in the order kids were picked, so you can see at a glance who has gone and who hasn't.
- Can I change the players in the middle of the party?
- Yes — edit the names in the roster box at any time and tap Update players to rebuild the wheel with the new list; the turn history stays intact unless you tap Clear turn history.
