Turn Queue
Keep a rotating turn order across the whole day or week: the queue saves itself into the page link, so bookmarking or copying the save link restores everyone's exact place, absences and all.

How to play
- Type your list of names or teams, one per line, in the order you want the rotation to start, then tap Start Rotation.
- The big top card always shows whose turn it is now. Tap Next Turn to give them their turn and rotate them to the back of the line.
- If someone is away, tap Mark Absent (or the Absent button next to their name) — the rotation skips them until you mark them present again, without losing their spot.
- To carry the rotation across days, tap Copy Save Link (or just bookmark the page — the address updates itself after every tap) and reopen that link later to restore everyone's exact place.
Type your list once and Turn Queue keeps the rotation going day after day: every turn you take, absence you mark, and place in line is packed into the page's own link as you go, so bookmarking the page or tapping Copy Save Link gives you a link that reopens the rotation exactly where it left off — tomorrow, next week, or on a different device. The name at the top of the queue is shown big and bold as the current turn; tap Next Turn and they rotate to the back of the line automatically. If someone is out sick, mark them Absent and the rotation quietly steps past them without losing their place — unmark them later and they slot right back in. Reset to Original Order restarts the rotation from your typed list whenever you want a fresh cycle.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the rotation remember where we left off between days?
- The full state — your list, everyone's current place in line, absences, and the turn count — is encoded into the page's web address after every tap. Bookmark the page or tap Copy Save Link, and opening that link later restores the rotation exactly, with no account and nothing stored on any server.
- What happens to someone I mark absent — do they lose their spot in line?
- No. Absent members stay in their exact position in the rotation order; they're just skipped when picking who's up next. Mark them present again and they're right back in line where they left off.
- Can I undo a Next Turn if I tap it by accident?
- Use Reset to Original Order to restart the whole rotation from your typed list, or reopen an earlier save link if you kept one. There's also a brief guard after each Next Turn so a rapid double-tap can't accidentally skip two people at once.
