How to play

  1. Paste your list of classroom jobs, one per line, on the left.
  2. Paste your student roster, one per line, on the right.
  3. Tap Build the chart to see this week's job assignments with avatars.
  4. Tap Rotate Week whenever you're ready to move everyone to their next fair turn.

Classroom Jobs Assigner turns your list of classroom jobs and your student roster into a chart that rotates itself fairly, week after week. Paste your jobs on one side and your students on the other, tap Build the chart, and every student gets an avatar with their initials next to their job for the week. When Monday rolls around again, tap Rotate Week and the whole chart shifts by one seat, so nobody gets stuck with the same job twice before everyone else has had a turn — and if you have more students than jobs, the extra students rotate through being free, too. It's ready in seconds and works completely offline, so it's there whether you're planning at home or projecting live in class.

Frequently asked questions

How does the rotation stay fair?
Every week shifts the whole roster by one seat before handing out jobs in order, so each student cycles through every job before any job repeats for them.
What happens if I have more students than jobs?
Extra students are marked Free for that week, and because the same rotation applies to everyone, each student ends up Free the same number of times over a full cycle.
Does it remember the rotation if I close the tab?
No, the chart resets to week one on a fresh page load — build it again at the start of each session and use Rotate Week to advance during that session.
