How to play

  1. Set the number of rounds, prep seconds per round, and how many steps players take back each round.
  2. Check the preview line for the total round count and the final step-back distance.
  3. Tap Start to go full screen — each round shows its step-back instruction, then counts down.
  4. Listen for the airhorn GO signal at the end of each countdown, and watch the round dots fill in until the final fanfare.

Toss Game Round Timer takes over refereeing duty for water balloon toss, egg toss, or any partner game that gets harder by moving players farther apart each round. Enter how many rounds you want to play, how many seconds of prep time each round gets, and how many steps back players take per round, then tap Start to go full screen. Each round opens with a clear step-back announcement in giant text, starting at the baseline for round one and adding steps from there, followed by a countdown and a built-in airhorn blast that means go. Round dots track progress at a glance, so the whole backyard can see exactly which round is live without anyone needing to shout instructions or watch a stopwatch.

Frequently asked questions

Does the step-back distance increase every round automatically?
Yes. You set how many steps to add per round, and the timer accumulates that distance automatically — round 1 starts at the baseline, and each later round's announcement adds the configured number of steps on top of the last.
What signals players that it's time to throw?
A built-in airhorn-style alarm tone plays automatically the instant each round's prep countdown reaches zero, along with the screen flashing to a GO message, so there's a clear, consistent signal every round.
Can I pause a round if something needs to be reset?
Yes, tap Pause in the full-screen view to stop the countdown at any time, then tap Resume (the same button, relabeled) to continue exactly where it left off.
