How to play

  1. Paste in everyone's name, one per line, and set how many minutes each round should last.
  2. Tap Start Rotating to see the first round's pairs and conversation question.
  3. Talk until the round timer runs out; a chime and a new round start automatically.
  4. Use Skip to Next Round to move on early, or New Group / Settings to start over with a different list.

Paste in everyone's name, set how many minutes each round should last, and tap Start Rotating to kick off a mixer that keeps the whole room moving. Every round pairs people up avoiding repeat partners whenever possible, shows a fresh conversation-starter question so nobody stares at an awkward silence, and counts down with a chime when it's time to switch. Odd numbers get one trio each round instead of leaving someone standing alone, and Skip to Next Round lets the host push forward early if a conversation wraps up fast. It's built for parties, team offsites, youth groups, or any event where the goal is genuinely mixing people rather than letting cliques settle in. Everything runs locally in the browser, so no accounts, no data collection, and no internet required once the page loads.

Frequently asked questions

Will the same two people get paired together twice?
The tool actively avoids repeat pairings by checking each round against everyone who has already been paired together, so as long as there are enough people and rounds left to offer a fresh combination, you'll see new partners each time rather than the same faces repeating.
What happens with an odd number of people?
One group becomes a trio for that round instead of leaving someone without a partner, so with 7 people you'd get two pairs and one group of three, and which group becomes the trio changes round to round.
Can I skip a round early if a conversation runs short?
Yes, tapping Skip to Next Round immediately ends the current round's timer and generates the next set of pairs and question, which is useful if a round is clearly done early or you want to speed up the pace.
