How to play
- Choose a venue (indoors, outdoors, or photo hunt), an age group, and how many items you want.
- Optionally add your own custom items — they're always included in the final list.
- Click Build my hunt to get a shuffled checklist drawn from the matching item pool.
- Check items off as players find them, use the countdown timer, or print list cards for a paper copy.
Choose whether the hunt happens indoors, outdoors, or as a photo challenge, pick an age group from little kids through adults, and this tool draws a fair, shuffled checklist from a large built-in pool of items suited to that combination. Add your own custom items alongside the built-in ones — they're always kept in the list, never left out — set how many items you want in total, and turn on photo-hunt style if players should snap a picture of each find instead of just spotting it. Once the list is built, players can check items off right on the screen, a built-in countdown timer keeps the hunt moving, and a Print list cards button gives you a paper checklist for anyone without a device. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere, and the whole tool works without an internet connection.

- Yes. Any custom item you add is always kept in the final list — only the remaining slots are filled with a random draw from the built-in pool.
- What is photo-hunt style?
- Turning on photo-hunt style adds items meant to be captured with a photo rather than just found, and blends in the tool's photo-specific item pool for the chosen age group.
- Can I get a new random list without changing my settings?
- Yes. Click New random list on the results screen to reshuffle a fresh list using the same venue, age group, and item count.
