How to play
- Type your roster, one name per line (at least two players), then tap Start Game.
- The instant a player is out, tap their name — it greys out with an X and the "still in" count updates immediately.
- Tapping an already-out name does nothing, so a mis-tap can't accidentally double-eliminate anyone.
- The game ends automatically the moment exactly two players remain, showing a winner banner with both names — tap Restart Round to replay with the same roster.
Silent Ball Tracker keeps score for the classic classroom favorite so you can focus on catching the ball, not remembering who's already out. Type your roster once, and every name appears as a tap-to-mark chip; the instant a player talks, drops the ball, or throws a bad pass, tap their name and they grey out with a clear X, staying visible so everyone can see who's already eliminated. The tracker keeps counting down the players still in until exactly two remain, at which point a celebration banner announces the winners by name and the roster locks so no more outs can be marked. Restart the same round with the exact same roster in one tap, or load a fresh list for the next class period.
Frequently asked questions
- What happens if I tap the same name twice by accident?
- Nothing — once a name is marked out it's greyed out and disabled for further outs, so an accidental double-tap never removes an extra player or breaks the count.
- Does the game end when there's one winner or two?
- Silent Ball traditionally ends with two players still standing, so the tracker declares the game over and shows both remaining names in the winner banner the moment the count reaches exactly two — matching the real rules of the game.
- Can I replay with the same class list without retyping names?
- Yes. Tap Restart Round (Same Roster) to clear every out mark and start a fresh round instantly with the same names, or New Roster if you want to load a completely different list.
