How to play

  1. Enter each player's name, choose a time control (No increment, Fischer, Bronstein, or Simple delay) and set minutes per side plus the increment/delay in seconds.
  2. Tap Start clock, then tap either side to begin that player's first move.
  3. When your move is done, tap your own glowing side — your time stops, your increment or delay bonus is applied, and your opponent's clock starts.
  4. Watch for the flag: the first side to hit 00:00 locks there with an alarm and the other player is declared the winner.

Set minutes per side and pick a time control before you start: no increment, Fischer (a flat bonus added after every move), Bronstein delay (refunds only the time you actually used, up to the delay), or simple delay (the first few seconds of each move are free and don't count down at all). Once the clock is running, tap your own side the instant you finish your move — that stops your time, applies whatever bonus your mode earns, and starts your opponent's clock automatically, so exactly one side is ever ticking. If a side reaches 00:00 it locks there permanently, a klaxon sounds once, and the other player is declared the winner on time. A fullscreen mode flips the display for face-to-face play across a table, and pause freezes both clocks together without losing a second of elapsed time.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Fischer, Bronstein, and simple delay?
Fischer adds a flat number of seconds to your clock after every move, no matter how fast you played. Bronstein delay only gives back the time you actually used, capped at the delay amount, so you can never gain time overall. Simple delay makes the first few seconds of each move free — your clock doesn't move at all until that window passes, then it counts down normally.
How is this different from the Multiplayer Turn Clock?

What happens when a player runs out of time?
That side's clock locks at exactly 00:00, a flag-fall alarm sounds once, and the other player is automatically declared the winner on time. The losing side's clock can never go negative or keep draining after the flag falls.
