Formula

Attendance (%) = (Classes Attended รท Total Classes Held) ร— 100

Status = OK if Attendance % โ‰ฅ Required %, otherwise Below requirement.

How it works

This calculator divides the number of classes attended by the total number of classes held and multiplies by 100 to obtain an attendance percentage. It then compares that percentage against the user-specified minimum requirement to display a pass/fail status. The tool assumes each class session counts equally and does not distinguish between excused and unexcused absences.

Worked example

Worked example

  1. Classes attended = 36, Total classes held = 45, Required attendance = 75%.
  2. Attendance (%) = (36 รท 45) ร— 100 = 80%.
  3. 80% โ‰ฅ 75% required, so the status is OK.

Attendance: 80% โ€” Status: OK
