How to play
- List the kids playing and, optionally, your own custom prompts, then tap Start the Trip.
- Read the giant prompt out loud and let everyone start scanning out the windows for it.
- Tap Next Prompt manually when it's spotted, or turn on auto-advance to roll a new one automatically every 20-60 seconds.
- The moment a kid spots it, tap their name to add one to their spotted counter — reset the counts anytime for a new leg of the trip.
Type in the names of the kids playing and tap Start the Trip to get one giant I-Spy prompt on screen at a time, drawn from a shuffled deck of 60 built-in ideas like "something red" or "a cow" that won't repeat until every prompt has shown once. Leave it on manual and tap Next Prompt whenever the current one gets spotted, or flip on auto-advance to move to a new prompt every 20 to 60 seconds without anyone touching the screen. The moment someone finds it, tap their name in the grid below to add one to their personal spotted count, so bragging rights are tracked automatically for the whole drive. Swap in your own list of prompts any time by pasting them into the custom box before starting.
Frequently asked questions
- What happens if we run through all the built-in prompts?
- The deck reshuffles automatically once every prompt has appeared, so the trip keeps going with a fresh random order and nothing repeats twice in a row.
- Can I use my own I-Spy ideas instead of the built-in list?
- Yes. Paste your own prompts into the custom box before starting, one per line, and they completely replace the built-in 60-prompt deck for that trip.
- Does auto-advance skip a prompt if no one has spotted it yet?
- Auto-advance simply rolls to the next prompt on a fixed timer you choose (20-60 seconds); you can always tap Next Prompt manually at any time to move on early or turn auto-advance off entirely.
