How to play
- Tap the big pad once for every jump, bounce, or kick — the count updates instantly with each tap.
- Watch the Best streak stat update automatically the moment your current round passes the previous record.
- Tap End Round when the streak breaks, to lock in the final tally for that round.
- Tap the pad again to start a fresh round at zero, or tap Reset Best Streak to clear the all-time record.
Jump Rope / Keepy-Up Counter settles playground arguments by giving every jump or kick a verifiable tally instead of a shouted guess. Tap the big teal pad once per jump, bounce, or kick, and the number climbs live in large tabular digits — every tap is counted individually with no debouncing or batching, so a fast burst of taps during a real streak lands exactly as many counts as taps, never fewer. A best-streak stat sits alongside the current round and updates the instant a new personal record is set, marked with a crown, so the highest streak of the session stays visible even after the round ends. Tap End Round to lock in the tally and check it against the best streak, or just keep tapping — a tap after ending automatically starts a fresh round at zero. Reset Best Streak clears the all-time record when it's time to start a new competition.
Frequently asked questions
- Can fast tapping cause taps to be missed or merged together?
- No — the tally is a raw counter with no debounce or cooldown on the tap itself, so even a rapid burst of hundreds of taps in a row is counted one-for-one; only the End Round and Reset buttons, which are separate state changes, have their own guard against accidental double-clicks.
- What happens to the tally if I keep tapping after ending a round?
- Tapping again after End Round automatically starts a brand-new round at zero — the tap is never silently ignored, it just begins counting the next attempt, and the Best streak from the previous round stays saved.
- Does Reset Best Streak also clear my current tap count?
- Yes — Reset Best Streak clears both the all-time best streak and the current round's tally back to zero, giving you a clean slate for a brand-new competition.
