How to play

  1. Pick a grade band — Early, Middle, or Upper — to match your class level.
  2. Tap New Word to reveal a poster with the word, its definition, and an example sentence.
  3. Read the challenge prompt aloud and invite students to use the word in their own sentence.
  4. Check the archive list below the poster to review every word shown so far in the session.

Choose a grade band and tap New Word to display a curated vocabulary word as a large poster, complete with its part of speech, a plain-language definition, an example sentence, and a challenge inviting students to use it themselves. Each band holds more than twenty hand-picked words, dealt like a shuffled deck: no word repeats until the whole band has been shown, and once the deck runs out it quietly reshuffles for a fresh pass. A running list at the bottom shows every word revealed so far in the session, making it easy to review at the end of the day or week. It is built for the classic daily vocabulary ritual many classrooms run at morning meeting, giving teachers a ready poster with zero prep and zero typing.

Frequently asked questions

Will the same word repeat right after it's shown?
Each band works like a shuffled deck of more than twenty words: no word repeats until every word in the band has been dealt once. After a full pass, the deck reshuffles and starts fresh, so with daily use a band lasts about a month before any word returns.
Can I switch grade bands mid-session?
Yes, tap a different band tab at any time; the archive resets for the new band, and each band keeps its own deck, so returning to a band later picks up its shuffle right where it left off.
Is the archive saved after I close the tab?
No, the archive only tracks words shown in the current browser session and clears when you reload the page, since the tool stores nothing on your device.
