Total days remaining = round((due date − today) ÷ 86 400 000 ms)
Weeks remaining = floor(total days ÷ 7)
Extra days = total days mod 7
How it works
This calculator subtracts today's date from the estimated due date to find the total number of days remaining, then converts that figure into whole weeks plus leftover days. The calculation uses UTC millisecond timestamps to avoid daylight-saving distortions. It assumes the due date provided is accurate; actual labour can occur 2–3 weeks either side of the estimate.

- Due date: 2026-12-01. Today: 2026-06-24.
- Difference in days: round((2026-12-01 − 2026-06-24) ÷ 86 400 000 ms) = 160 days.
- Whole weeks: floor(160 ÷ 7) = 22 weeks.
- Extra days: 160 mod 7 = 6 days.
22 weeks and 6 extra days remaining (160 total days).

- What if my due date changes after an ultrasound?
- Update the due date field with your revised estimate. Dating ultrasounds at 8–14 weeks are accurate to within ±5–7 days.
- What week of pregnancy will I be at my due date?
- Your due date falls at 40 weeks of pregnancy (gestational age). Full term is 39–40 weeks; early term is 37–38+6 weeks.
- What if the result is negative (overdue)?
- This calculator returns 0 if the due date is in the past. If you are past your due date, speak with your midwife or obstetrician.
