How it works

The Coin Flip tool simulates flipping a fair coin and returns Heads or Tails for each flip. You can flip one coin or several at once by entering the number of flips you want.

A virtual coin flip is ideal for quick binary decisions, resolving ties, assigning teams, or any situation where you need an impartial 50/50 outcome and no physical coin is available. Unlike a real coin flip, the result cannot be influenced by grip or technique.

Each flip is generated using the browser's secure random number source, giving Heads and Tails an exactly equal 50% probability on every flip. Flips are independent — a run of Heads does not make Tails more likely on the next flip (the gambler's fallacy).
